"The
Waterside and the Village of HYTHE ~ A Souvenir Guide" is published
annually just before Easter and is circulated among visitor centres,
campsites, hotels, guest houses and tourist attractions throughout
the New Forest area, as well as in Tourist Information Centres
across the region, during the summer season.
The
publication is particularly aimed at potential day visitors and
holiday makers in the area, with a view to attracting them to spend
some time in The Waterside. Contents include photographs of the
area; an historical walk around Hythe village centre; information of
interest to visitors such as where to eat, where to shop, and where
to visit. One of the most popular features of the guide is
undoubtedly the schedule of sailings of the major passenger ships
arriving at and departing from

visitors a good overview of facilities and services available in the
area.
